Project Description
Christina and Ronja live in central Germany, near the city of Kassel. Ronja is a small mixed breed with tons of energy, and she taught Christina that some dogs need a job to be happy. Living with a jobless dog was not easy, and in 2005, Christina saw a dog on TV catch a single frisbee. It gave her an idea, and after ordering some discs and a book, she and Ronja soon fell in love with the discs.
In 2007 they entered their first competition, and only one year later – in 2008 – they won the German Championship. Since then, they have qualified for World Championships each year, and traveled to America to attend the World Championships four times. Christina and Ronja are the 2009 and 2010 European Microdog Champions, and they finished on the podium at the World Championships twice, as a Skyhoundz Microdog finalist in 2009 and UFO All-Star Freestyle finalist in 2010. In 2012, they were crowned AWI European Champion.
In addition to competing, they enjoy doing shows and demos, judging competitions, and introducing new people to the sport. They love traveling through Europe and America, meeting people and dogs with the same love of disc play!
